Sa'dan Toraja warrior's slated armor and paired helmet. Well-formed armor from thick overlaid slats of buffalo hide not only provide bodily protection, but made its' wearer skin tebal, thick and impenetrable while co-oping the immense strength and powerful magic of tedong, or water buffalo.
