An elegant, traditional woman’s tunic of handspun cotton warp with silk supplementary weft patterning. The tunic has an appliqué neck ornamentation of red, gold and blue wool felt inserts. Tassels of cut silk and cotton suggest ceremonial use. The body of the tunic contains rows of double dorje motifs and charm boxes. Stupa forms adorned with prayer flags sit atop the bottom border. The garment's hem has a horizontal design of raised pattern bands and a 7-inch length of fringe.
