The black lacquered exterior and red interior Ok-Kwet, consists of its footed, ribbed base with five fitted pieces. Traditionally the stupa shaped vessel was used to present food as an offering to the monk and to monasteries. The six layers held varied edibles and the top cover may have been used to hold water.
