Each earring is composed of two conical forms with a decorative shield on the front. Worn by Rabarri tribal women who were, and still are desert dwelling agrarians. The conical forms may have reference to water storage. The Rabarri are a matriarchal group with strong Shivite-Hindu devotion. This early example has lovely wear and patina.
